Independence Day

Every year, on the 15th of August, we celebrate Independence Day with joy and excitement, marking the freedom and togetherness of our country. It is a special day when we remember the brave people who fought for our freedom and appreciate the importance of freedom, fairness, and different cultures. At our organization, we gather to celebrate this day. Our president raises the flag and we enjoy cultural performances by local children, including singing, dancing, and recitation. This program helps us show respect for our history and embrace the unity that comes with being independent.

Republic Day

We celebrate Republic Day with great happiness and honor, as it is the day when our Constitution became active. Our founder raises the Indian flag and gives inspiring speeches to motivate us to contribute towards the betterment of society. On this special day, we celebrate our democratic traditions and promise to create a prosperous and fair India for everyone. We also remember our rich cultural heritage and the values of unity, diversity, and independence that make our country strong.

World Water Day

On World Water Day 2023, ASSA organized various events in the Bangomunda block of Balangir district to raise awareness about water conservation. We conducted rallies at schools and villages, reaching all sixteen villages of the WADI project. The focus of our programs was on sensitizing the rural community about the importance of conserving water resources and using WADI devices for treating drinking water. The day served as a reminder of the global water crisis and the need for sustainable water management. The emphasis was on saving water for the future to prevent water crises in villages and avoid potential conflicts over water resources.
