Welcome To

Anchalik Samrudhi Sadhana Anusthan

Anchalik Samrudhi Sadhana Anusthan (ASSA) is a non-profitable organization that has been working since 2002 with the vision of creating a sustainable impact on the lives of rural and tribal communities in Southern Odisha, India. Our organization is dedicated to empowering these communities by helping them enhance their income and overall quality of life.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the field, ASSA has fine-tuned its sustainable agricultural model and successfully implemented a program focused on livelihood and income security. This program has lifted over 10,000 small and marginalized rural families out of poverty irreversibly and sustainably.

The core ideology of ASSA is centered around fulfilling the needs and aspirations of the entire community, including persons with disabilities (PWDs) within the project area.

While livelihood expansion serves as the foundation for their interventions, ASSA also addresses associated needs through programs in Distress Migration, Health, Water, and Sanitation, aiming for the holistic growth of the community. The organization’s goal is to build resilience and provide communities with the necessary tools to prosper in the long run.

ASSA has identified several challenges in the area, such as small and marginalized landholdings, reliance on traditional agriculture practices, limited access to advanced agri-technology, lack of direct credit and market access, forced migration for livelihood, and persistent food security issues. The core intervention areas of ASSA are designed to overcome these challenges and ensure long-term prosperity for the communities they serve.
